Intro to Knitting

This is a series of three classes where students will learn how to knit, purl, cast-on, bind-off, and read patterns. Students will also be introduced to two different styles of knitting: English and Continental. The classes will be spent practicing and familiarizing yourself with knitting and working through a project (dishcloths in various patterns).

Fee: $75.00 not including supplies.

Dates: 5/4, 5/11, and 5/18 @ 10:30am - 12:00pm.

Supplies: 1 skein of worsted weight practice yarn (optional but recommended), 1 skein of Blue Sky Fiber’s Organic Cotton, 1 pair of US 8 straight needles, stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.

If you have supplies at home, you are more than welcome to bring those to class. We also carry everything you would need in-store. Please contact us with any questions!
